Accessibility Questionnaire

Are you a wheelchair user, or someone who uses another type of mobility aid to get around? Will you help us out by sharing your expertise and experiences?

Here at Mapping for Change, we’ve been busy working on one of our current projects, My Accessible EU. This project aims to develop digital tools, such as mobile phone applications, that will enable people to collect and share information about accessibility in European cities. Part of this will involve the creation of applications to help plan journeys and navigate when on route. To ensure these tools are as beneficial as possible, we need insights and feedback from people like you!

In order for us to help achieve this, a short accessibility questionnaire has been prepared, which can be found by clicking the link here.

It’s designed to get feedback about your typical journeys, including your typical mobility, conditions of the urban built environment such as steps and curbs that affect your journey, your use of public transport, and your current use of technology to help plan routes and navigate. Perhaps most importantly, it asks for feedback about what types of information would be useful to you when planning journeys or navigating in the future.

There are 30 questions in total, and it should take between 5-10 minutes of your time. Every response gathered is hugely important, so please share this with any friends or family who would be interested. Together, you can help contribute towards improving accessibility for people across Europe!

If English is not your first language, the survey is also available in German and Spanish.
